I’ve taught IB Biology for nine years, mostly with HL students who need help connecting the syllabus to exam-style questions. I spend a lot of time on genetics, cell respiration and IA planning, as those are the places students usually lose marks. My lessons are fairly direct: we review the content, practise data-based questions, then tighten the written answers.

Hi, I’m an IB Biology tutor with a background in biomedical science and four years of online tutoring. I like working with students who feel fine in class but freeze when the wording changes in exams. Evolution, enzymes and human physiology are my usual favourites to teach. I also help students shape IA research questions before they get too broad.

I have 14 years of experience teaching IB Biology and have supported both SL and HL students through the current specification.
